Fans Meet Idols

Building the Onboarding Team

The 2022 Class of Fans Meet Idols (FMI) Onboarding Team members began in earnest in May, led by Micah Howell, a University of Alabama Marketing & Management Major from Hoover, AL who joined FMI in November 2021.

Micah led a search for eager Students and Student-Athletes interested in broadening their knowledge on Name Image & Likeness (NIL) working as Summer Interns . The goal of this team was to help Student-Athletes capitalize on their NIL by launching personalized Storefronts where Fans can order Products, Digital Goods and Book Appearances and generate income from their NIL. The Student-led approach allows Fans Meet Idols to effectively canvas the nation and broadcast the advantages of Fan Monetization.

Micah, with the help of Founder Steve Kennedy, assembled a team of more than twenty members. Check out the Fans Meet Idols LinkedIn to learn more about each member and how they have excelled in their role.

About Fans Meet Idols

Fans Meet Idols was founded in July 2020 to help Student-Athletes (SA) monetize their Name, Image and Likeness (NIL) with Fans.

Fans do not judge an individual based on how many followers they have, or how big their brand is. They are a Fan because of who the Athlete already is.

We believe the broadest opportunities for the majority of Student-Athletes to capitalize on NIL is through Fan Engagement, which is why we created this Direct-to-Fan marketplace.

OUR MISSION it to help Student-Athletes become Entrepreneurs while conditioning behaviors of Following the Rules and Giving Back to their Community.

We are led by a seasoned team of professionals with expertise in Collegiate Athletics, Compliance, NIL, eCommerce, Finance, Technology and Internet Law.

We're based in Atlanta, GA.
